Following their 2021 debut album, ‘Brama’, One Million
Eyes return with their highly anticipated second album,
‘Iris’, set to captivate us once more through a
kaleidoscope of rich analog and instrumental
fragments.

The inspiration behind the album was born from a
powerful symbol—the iris of the eye. Controlling the
inflow of light, the iris mirrors the duo's mission for the
album, “letting light in, even in the darkest of times”.
Representing an attempt to shed new insight on their
sometimes indescribable approach, Paolo and Luciano
compare the ambition (and consequent imperfections)
throughout their music to that of the imperfect, yet
unique array of color found within an iris, in the hope it
can completely entrance and mesmerize.
With much of the album recorded live, ‘Iris’ marks a
refined evolution in the One Million Eyes sound born
under their Tempelhof guise many years ago. Infusing
organic sound elements such as voice fragments,
acoustic guitar lines, and drum beats at the forefront of
their compositions, their vast array of analog
synthesizers once again provide added depth and
warmth, resulting in majestic, hypnotic circular motifs
that Paolo and Luciano describe as "Mantras, rising and
falling in volume and intensity."
Mastered by Rafael Anton Irisarri, and featuring artwork
by Ventral Is Golden, ‘Iris’ will be available on
November 10th, on turquoise vinyl, digital, and streaming.
There will also be a limited run of multi-colored ‘Iris’ 12”
available directly on the label’s Bandcamp.

The follow-up album to "Tides" createsimaginary spaces, translates ephemeral impressions and condenses them into cinematic soundscapes. The eightpieces illustrate an intense and emotional journey that creates expressive relationships between external and internal perceptions. In addition, the piece "Mutuus" reveals an enchanting and so far unique collaboration between Markus Guentner andJoachim Spieth, after the two musically shaped Wolfgang Voigt's first release of the compilation series "Pop Ambient" more than 20 years ago. This is a re-release of the vinyl album from 2021.
Anthony Linell's Lundin Oil project suggests a politic and an aesthetic in one swift movement. We may make certain deductions about each, but we must work backwards from where they meet. Through the brutalising industrial mechanisms to which titles cryptically allude, we are given an exponentially urgent image of devastation. This is projected, pitch-perfectly, into a rapacious and erosive aural demonstration that barely meet metrical demands. Exploit Divisions, the first Lundin Oil release since 2016, redoubles this threatening realisation. The album pivots between seismic static waves and jagged rhythmic noise, seeking a wider vantage with melodic drone ensembles. A ferocious departure from his primary work, Exploit Divisions is a purposeful reminder of the savagery of brevity.
For nearly 40 years, English producer Mark Van Hoen has been making challenging music that eludes easy categorization under his own name, as Locust, and in the groups Autocreation, Scala, and Drøne. While his output has skirted around the fringes of IDM, techno, trip-hop, ambient, drone, and electropop, it has mutated these genres' elements in distinctive ways, revealing a mind always questing for unprecedented sounds. This is Mark Van Hoen’s ninth album as Locust, and an instant classic.Drifting, hanging, holding. Hoping, seeking, searching. And then finding.Mark Van Hoen's ninth album as Locust is a cosmic whisper, a tender touch, where candid songwriting commingles with the afterimage of trip-hop and jungle. Across eight tracks, spectral melodies dance between languid breakbeats, and a formless murmur drifts through the ether, seeking a common thread.Layered in strata, "The First Cause" reveals itself anew with each listen. Delicate tones share space with bass weight. Drums crunch, and rhythms cascade. Voices loop and intone, bodiless. What at first seems melancholy, you may later find reoriented—toward promise. We seek solace in each other, and we seek solace in sound. Kinship isn't easy to come by. When a record offers its kind embrace to us as this one does, without reservation, we should take heed.Written, performed and produced by Mark Van Hoen© Touch Music/Fairwood Music UK Ltd℗ 2023 Mark Van Hoen under exclusive license to Mysteries of the Deepmarkvanhoen.comMastered by Rafael Anton Irisarri at Black Knoll Studio, NYPhotography by Grant AaronDesign by Gabriel BenzurWords by Chris Zaldua

TITR001 comes from hems, pressed to 180g vinyl housed in reverse board print.Spread across five tracks, the release transits a number of spaces - from the post-inertia stirrings of "Chaotic Affair", to the cutting and more austere drone layout of "One". Cosmic tech broadcast "Beautiful weekend with friends" is a fizzing metamorphosis that melts and mutates itself into "Switching Gears", a darker and more liquid environment. The final track "Stain" concludes the release with a musique concrète touch. With an overall meditative albeit experimental tone, this package is replete with rich textural qualities luring the listener into auditory immersion.
EU Stock: ✅UK Stock: ✅After two series of conceptual EPs and the intricate experimental “Enso” Festival compilation, Kosei Fukuda returns with a full length solo project – the debut LP. This marks his thirteenth release on the Reiten label – a platform he created to showcase his techno music and the more general, experimental aesthetic agenda of which the club music is but one facet. As a producer and sound artist, Fukuda has shared his time between Tokyo and Berlin. Delving into the music scene of the latter in the late 2010s, he attracted the attention of and has worked with artists including Berghain resident Tobias Freund, Claudio PRC and Rabih Beaini. The album is split into two halves, and in principle, the two albums, called ‘Ruten –’ and ‘Ruten +’ are meant to represent the principle of Ying & Yang, the two elemental forces and the eternal cycle of energy. As a whole, they signify a journey from the nascent being to the eventual dissolution of everything into nothing. The first volume starts appropriately with the unassuming intro “dawn” and proceeds from the investigative look at the evanescent yet tangible droplets of “mist” and on to the contemplative gaze at the most distant, unreachable constellation of “nebula”. Regardless of metaphorical intent though, the music moves within one universe of downtempo, ambient and drone, combining the palpable beats (rhythmic pattern) with the atmospheric backgrounds (harmonic flow).

Out in February 2022 via Japan's Reiten, its 9 tracks mirror Recent Arts new, forthcoming A/V show, following their previous debuts also at Atonal and Berghain's Säule of the recent years.'Hypertext' video projections and experimental electronic music synergise ideas of non-linear data and information processing, drawing parallels to computational thinking with the way our human brains biologically process information. Visuals are the catalysts for the music, inspired by the overwhelming amount of information and the speed at which we consume different media, featuring a cacophony of hundreds of different media, poetry, images of surveillance and clips of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
