With a much-loved signature sound heavily influenced by many active years in the trance scene, Fernie’s blend of emotive pads and cosmic soundscapes has secured him a discography that spans some of deep techno’s most revered labels. Having releases on the likes of Monument, Khoros, KVLTÖ and Informa Records to name just a few, as well as heading up his own imprint Space Textures, curating the Monument podcast, and co-running the Orbits parties with fellow Glaswegians Deepbass and Repart - Fernie’s passion for the deep techno community resides in the energy he consistently commits to our scene.

The third release in our catalogue comes as a limited edition 140g transparent vinyl with black smoke, pressed in Italy and presented in a matte sleeve with full colour artwork. Celestial is a carefully woven journey that searches and probes, be it the outer reaches of space or the inner depths of oneself. Perfectly blending the themes of space exploration and astrology, the EP opens with a brooding wash of atmospheres and voice samples, before broken rhythms, lush pads and moody ethereal tones carry the voyage through the A Side. The B Side sees the record open up into two tracks perfect for deep immersion on the dance floor, with Unbound offering an atmospheric cruise fit for early morning bliss. And finally, we are humbled to have a remix from deep techno stalwart Ness closing out the EP - a ritualistic stomper that reworks the original atmospheres of Critical Functions into an uptempo dub techno infused gem.

The second release from ISOTOOP sees Vand venture out solo on three divergent and introspective cuts, each cultivated from the Dutch musician’s live repertoire, and an austere remix from the ever-accurate Italian duo natural.electronic/system tops off the release.Throughout each of his original compositions Vand explores his varied definitions of club music: opener Futureshock showcases an isolated groove, sights centred on the dancefloor through its foreboding and uncertain tone, but a self-assuredness is palpable in the craftsmanship. Gaze takes lithe shuffle-ups of the tracks’ sharp snares, woozy atmospherics, snarling frequencies and shadowy basslines — intrigue is gathered, and kept through the prominent yet minimalist dub-minded elements. Vand’s final original offering Trialism blends gravitas and grace together on top of the unlevel ground of the syncopated, impulsive drumline. Close friends of the label, certified maestros of the dancefloor natural.electronic/system take Trialism for a spin on the closing piece; the Italian duo establish a sound based on restrained loop hypnosis, evocative and suggestive, leaving space for more to be said. A spacious and dark realm, but far from a void; pearlescent light pools, reflections beaming back pale starlight.

The strange, carbonated eventide of Evigt Mörker's cosmos takes new dizzy routes in his latest EP, 'Ett Vilt Ljus'. With the spectre of their more recent and stoic ambient works casting a shadow through the operational tics of this latest collection of tracks, the choppy psychedelia teases frenzied abandon with each bristling manoeuvre yet pitches us into the night again whenever light threatens to break. 'Hemliga eldar', 'Huggormen som vilar', and 'Det blåser en vind genom världen, och det har det alltid gjort' model three rudiments in polyrhythm, each curiously stabilised with choral-like backdrops, while the most flustered pieces can be found cut between.

Âsan’s self-released Beychen EP is a raw odyssey through the chaos and catharsis of creation. Across four relentless tracks, the producer mirrors the turmoil of nearly losing their passion for music—only to rediscover it by dismantling old habits and surrendering to the unknown. What emerges is a vortex of psychedelic techno, where layered rhythms spiral into the deep-down and morphing soundscapes warp time itself.The title track Beychen channels the claustrophobic unease of a creative block with its brainmelting progression, only to erupt in a complete loss of control and, therefore, relief. The other three tracks deliver visceral techno in similar fashion, each piece evolving like an own entity with hypnotic force. This is music for darkened rooms and muddy forest stages, where the dancefloor becomes a mirror for Âsan’s internal reckoning. Here, the anxiety of creation is not conquered, but alchemized.Âsan, a New York-based producer and co-founder of the label Cellar Door, always chases a certain feeling in his work—an elusive sensation that guides his creative journey. For him, dancing begins in the head, as rhythms and soundscapes take shape in a space between thought and intuition. His music invites listeners to step into that headspace, where the body follows the mind’s spiraling patterns.
