The oblique and annihilating transmissions emanating from the workshop of Polar Inertia have been issued intently and surely over the last decade and more. Environment Control grants access to the biggest consignment to date, with eight tracks of mesmeric play that are fraught with clinical impulsiveness and astringent rushes.Opening with a didactic panegyric to transmutation, Polar Inertia swiftly counter our recoil with an ominous display of pressure on 'Smothering Dreams'. Shipping from EU: ✅Shipping from UK: ✅System Revival Recordings is proud to present the first 12” release through a sub-catalogue series called Minor SetbacksThe SRR project was born durning the late summer months of 2020, a year where the world was living through a ‘global pandemic’ as well as endless daily tragedies which are always ongoing.Starting with a series of charity compilations aiming to raise funds and awareness for ongoing humanitarian and refugee crises.This 12” will showcase one of these track contributions by US native, and Berlin based multi-disciplinary producer Headless Horseman (originally released on the ‘Beirut Will Rise Again’ compilation from Nov 2020)Following the original, we have 2 remixes by 2 of the most inspiring artists in our time. What can be considered a true pioneer for modern electronic and experimental music and technology - German artist Monolake. Following that, is a rework by Erika, one Detroit’s finest producers, DJs, label owners, promoters and educators - and involved in projects Ectomorph (with BMG), Interdimensional Transmissions, No Way Back and more.

Meditating on higher flights of thrill and disorder than their previous record, and with an acknowledgement of their Stockholm roots, 'Area 08' induces fever and anticipation with every gesture.The opening tracks make a raucous yet resolute introduction to proceedings, eventually issuing one of the album's most exquisite moments of reprieve with 'Akalla/Broken Swords'. However, it is the second half of 'Area 08' that formally admits their latest work has crossed a threshold yet unexplored by the pair. Swim is super happy to welcome their first 12” record into the world, and Mark Lando is up for his second release! The first side is a body affair, with acid-tinged techno dominating both cuts. Formation is a fun, muscular take on the format, while Scope zones in on his industrial forays. The other side gives time to heady, joyous gear, sporting two tracks spreading far in style and tempo. The title track is nimble and fast on its feet, a rhythmic workout indebted to bass music as much as to new age experiments. Rounding things out, In This Light harks back to the heydays of atmospheric trance excursions, leaving in its wake a warm note of care.
