In the last 10 years STAUB has been doing its own thing. No lineups have ever been announced, which has allowed newcomers to be surrounded by bigger names. It does not matter if you are famous or not, what matters is the quality and dramaturgy of the party.

Everybody is paid the same, and quite a few social projects and charities are supported. Artistic collaborations with different crews have flourished. All in all, this attitude helps to explain the longevity of the party.

For our birthday episode, you can expect the techno fairies to visit ://about blank. It will last 24 hours and be the opportunity to present the latest EP in our STAUB series. As usual it is a Various Artists released by Intergalactic Research Institute For Sound. These five tunes represent what you can hear at STAUB, music that ranges from leftfield to drum and bass, from ambient soundscapes to booming techno.

Once upon a time, a little girl felt something was missing in her life. She searched and looked everywhere in the world. As she longingly stared at the clear blue sky, she noticed puffy white trails behind airplanes. For days and nights she walked - sometimes ran - behind these sinister tracks made of vapor. Extraterrestrial entities seemed to blink in the darkest nights and approved of her mission. After a year she finally arrived at its source. When she asked around what it was, the answer was a word full of mysterious energy: STAUB.

Jaime is an old acquaintance of the label as he is a member of Pajaro Dune with David Ortolá who were who kicked off the label in 2017. By now we know that only adrenaline can make sense of the toxic ensemble of purposes at the heart of Ulwhednar. Meditating on higher flights of thrill and disorder than their previous record, and with an acknowledgement of their Stockholm roots, 'Area 08' induces fever and anticipation with every gesture.The opening tracks make a raucous yet resolute introduction to proceedings, eventually issuing one of the album's most exquisite moments of reprieve with 'Akalla/Broken Swords'. Whilst continuing on the path set by Orphic’s widely acclaimed “Shelter EP”, this one marks a return to the label’s beginnings. Music comes from rapture wizard Miro Sundaymusiq, who featured on E2-E8’s first release and previously appeared on Carl H’s Animals On Psychedelics. And the Animals On Psychedelics sound is very much what’s channelled here with ITWT (we’ll let you figure out what the acronym stands for!). A suspended number with plenty of tension in the first minutes, with a change in atmosphere when you least expect it.On the B-side we are delighted to have S.O.N.S providing his interpretation of ITWT. One for peak times and booming speakers, a sea of low and high frequencies blending together. This one will appeal to discerning dance floors while firmly standing the test of time.

Systema Naturae II

Shipping from EU: ✅Shipping from UK: ✅Second EP of the “Systema Naturae” series on 012 with 4 fresh new deep techno cuts from newcomer producers.Systema Naturae is the first compilation of 012. It is inspired by and takes the name of one of the major works of the Swedish botanist, zoologist and physician Carl Linnaeus, dating back to 1735, which broadly describes the hierarchical classification of the natural world. The series consists of three parts, each containing four tracks, where several artists are invited to recreate, with sounds, a deep reconnection with nature. Original artworks by Ciredz.

EU Stock: ✅UK Stock: ✅After two series of conceptual EPs and the intricate experimental “Enso” Festival compilation, Kosei Fukuda returns with a full length solo project – the debut LP. This marks his thirteenth release on the Reiten label – a platform he created to showcase his techno music and the more general, experimental aesthetic agenda of which the club music is but one facet. As a producer and sound artist, Fukuda has shared his time between Tokyo and Berlin. Delving into the music scene of the latter in the late 2010s, he attracted the attention of and has worked with artists including Berghain resident Tobias Freund, Claudio PRC and Rabih Beaini. The album is split into two halves, and in principle, the two albums, called ‘Ruten –’ and ‘Ruten +’ are meant to represent the principle of Ying & Yang, the two elemental forces and the eternal cycle of energy. As a whole, they signify a journey from the nascent being to the eventual dissolution of everything into nothing. The first volume starts appropriately with the unassuming intro “dawn” and proceeds from the investigative look at the evanescent yet tangible droplets of “mist” and on to the contemplative gaze at the most distant, unreachable constellation of “nebula”. Regardless of metaphorical intent though, the music moves within one universe of downtempo, ambient and drone, combining the palpable beats (rhythmic pattern) with the atmospheric backgrounds (harmonic flow).
